Straight out the archives a Prototype dub plate classic “Loungin” being rinsed out on Kiss fm by Kenny ken and by Grooverider on Radio one and at the Roast Xmas special at Astoria.
I did this remix in the Summer of 2011 and it’s been getting really good reactions from the club and radio Dj’s with an average score on the reaction sheets of 8 out of 10 .
We made this track one afternoon, using old and worn out/broken equipment, messing about with samples while drinking endless cups of of tea.
It came out on the Nu Black/No U turn label and was played by John Peel on his shows.
This still means a great deal to me as I had only been making music about 2 years and John Peel was a DJ I grew up listening to and learning a lot from.
Sad 2 me was something I made for No U turn’s sister label Saigon and is featured on the Incoming album.
